Act XCIII of 1993 on Occupational Safety and Health (hereinafter: OSH Act) introduced risk assessment as an employer's task from 1 January 1998. Section 54 (2) of the OSH Act states that the employer must have a risk assessment.
Risk assessment is a key element of employer measures taken to prevent accidents at work and occupational diseases/increased exposure, in order to create a safe and healthy workplace! Occupational safety risk assessment is a process where the given working conditions must be examined and specific actions must be determined. Risk assessment is a careful review of what can harm and endanger employees in a given workplace, whether the identified hazards can be eliminated or not, and what personal, material and organizational measures are necessary in order to prevent accidents at work and health damage.
Risk assessment means the systematic monitoring of compliance with occupational safety requirements, the identification and elimination of deficiencies and irregularities, and the maintenance of risks at an acceptable level, in which the main tool is the rational application of extensive occupational safety knowledge.
We undertake the preparation, review and ongoing maintenance of workplace risk assessments for small, medium and large companies.
